Schools & Universities
Road safety belongs inside education, not only on the road.
ZRST works with schools, universities, colleges, parents and student leaders to make daily journeys safer through school-zone assessments, road safety education, student ambassador programmes, campus mobility audits, school transport safety and research collaboration.
Zambian Education and Safety Context
Large numbers of learners move every day through road environments that were not designed around child safety.
Schools and universities generate daily travel patterns: walking, cycling, school transport, public transport, private vehicles and motorcycles. Road safety must therefore be part of school management, campus planning, parent engagement and student leadership.
