Partner With Zambia Road Safety Trust
ZRST works with partners who want road safety results, not just visibility.
We help donors, companies, government agencies, councils, insurers, schools, universities and transport operators shape practical road safety work that responds to real risk and can be reported honestly.

Why Partner With ZRST
Road crashes affect families, schools, companies, insurers, public agencies and communities. A serious crash can create grief, injury, business disruption, public criticism, claims, delays and loss of trust.
ZRST helps partners move from concern to action. We support road safety work that is clear in purpose, practical in delivery and serious about evidence.
How Partners Can Work With ZRST
Fund a defined programme
Donors, foundations and corporate social responsibility teams can fund road safety work with clear activities, target groups, locations, delivery steps and reporting.
Sponsor a high-risk location
Partners can support practical work at a school, corridor, market area, bus stop, junction, motorcycle activity point or walking route where road danger is visible.
Commission technical support
Public agencies, councils, companies and operators can commission ZRST to support audits, risk assessments, training, community engagement, route reviews, safety campaigns and partner reports.
Co-design a road safety project
ZRST can work with a partner to define the problem, shape the activity plan, agree roles, build the budget and set the evidence framework.
Partnership Areas
ZRST can shape partnerships around schools, motorcycle riders, fleet operations, walking and cycling routes, transport corridors, public transport risk, post-crash response, road safety data, policy support and community safety.
Detailed programme information is available on the Programmes & Impact page.
Who We Work With
For Companies
Road safety is not only a social responsibility issue. It is a risk, cost, compliance and reputation issue.
ZRST can work with companies on fleet safety, driver training, route risk assessment, motorcycle and delivery rider safety, staff travel risk, community safety and crash review.
For Donors and Foundations
ZRST can help donors support practical road safety work with clear beneficiaries, activities, outputs and reporting.
We are especially interested in partnerships that can be tested, documented and scaled.
For Government and Councils
ZRST supports public institutions with community engagement, technical input, public education, training and local road safety action.
Our role is to help connect policy, public concern and practical delivery.
For Schools, Universities and Communities
ZRST works with education institutions and communities to address road safety risks affecting children, young people, pedestrians, riders, passengers and families affected by road crashes.
Our Partnership Standard
A serious road safety partnership must answer four questions:
- What road safety risk are we addressing?
- Who is most exposed to that risk?
- What practical action will reduce the risk?
- How will we show what changed?
If a project cannot answer those questions, it is not ready for serious funding.
