Five learning hours, a 15-minute tea break and a 45-minute lunch. Planned capacity: 24. Bring a laptop and charger; fictional records and training accounts will be provided. Do not bring identifiable driver or medical records. App exercises depend on verified functions, with an offline workbook available as a fallback. No app subscription is required to attend; ongoing subscriptions are separate.
Participants develop one integrated workbook covering risk priorities, verification, dispatch decisions and weekly follow-up. Workshop-only delegates need no prior forum attendance. The ZRST participation certificate is not an accredited qualification or statutory approval.

Programme status

Frequently asked questions
Can I attend just one event?
Yes. Buy workshop only for 10 March, forum only for 11 March, or both events. Neither event requires attendance at the other. Online tickets cover the forum only.
Who will teach the workshop?
The planned team includes at least four professionals representing academia, industry practice, government and ZRST. External lecturers are proposed, not confirmed. Names will be published after written acceptance.
Does the workshop include app training?
Yes. A guided ZRST Fleet Safety App demonstration and supervised practice use fictional records and verified functions. Bring a laptop and charger. Ongoing app subscriptions are separate.
Who can attend?
Anyone with a role in fleet safety or road-traffic compliance: fleet managers, safety and HR managers, insurers, driving schools, professional drivers, government agencies and civil society organisations.
Does the certificate replace a regulatory qualification?
No. The certificate is a certificate of participation issued by ZRST. It does not replace any licence, test, permit or approval issued by a statutory body.
Are the speakers confirmed?
Individual speaker names and session participation will be published after written acceptance. A proposed role does not confirm attendance or institutional endorsement.
Can my company register a group?
Yes. Generate a bank-transfer invoice for a corporate group of 5 or 10. ZRST will request delegate names as part of booking confirmation. Contact ZRST to confirm the group booking and applicable substitution terms before paying.
Is there a rate for professional drivers?
Yes. A professional driver and instructor rate is available for 25 places, with proof of occupation. See fees below.
Can I attend online?
Yes. Online tickets cover the forum live stream and digital pack. See fees below.
I am coming from outside Zambia. Can I pay in US dollars?
Yes. International delegates, sponsors and exhibitors may pay the US dollar amounts shown, set at a fixed rate of K20 to US$1. Select US dollars in the online booking section and use an available checkout method. Delegates based in Zambia pay in Kwacha.
Do sponsors influence the programme?
No. Sponsorship and exhibition fees support the delivery of the forum. They give no company control over regulatory content, speaker selection or technical conclusions.
After the forum
ZRST offers follow-up training and advisory services: defensive-driving training, fleet safety audits, driver risk assessment and staff road-safety talks. These do not replace RTSA licensing, statutory tests, permits or any other regulatory approval.

Corporate, driver, online, exhibitor and sponsored forum categories do not include workshop access. Corporate workshop places are added separately at K2,250 per person, subject to capacity.
In-person fees cover the selected day’s sessions, refreshments, lunch, digital materials and participation certificate. Both-event fees cover both days. Travel, accommodation and ongoing app subscriptions are excluded. Workshop delivery is subject to minimum paid bookings; if ZRST cancels it, the workshop fee will be refunded in full. Combined-ticket invoices allocate K2,250 to the workshop and the balance to the forum.
