RTSA Evaluates Curriculum Implementation at ZRST Motor Driving School

The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) visited ZRST Motor Driving School on Friday, 7 August 2026, to assess its implementation of the TEVETA Driving School Curriculum and the EU-supported Instructor Manual.
The evaluation involved staff interviews and a review of the school’s operational arrangements. It examined how the school applies the curriculum and instructor guidance in its driver training, alongside its record keeping and data collection practices.
For the Zambia Road Safety Trust, these areas are central to running a structured training service. Curriculum delivery gives instructors a consistent basis for teaching, while records provide evidence against which training practices can be reviewed.
ZRST Motor Driving School’s aim is to prepare learners for safe, responsible driving beyond the driving test. Engagement with RTSA provides an opportunity to examine how that aim is reflected in the school’s day-to-day work and to identify areas requiring further attention.
The visit forms part of regulatory scrutiny of driver training delivery. Any formal findings on compliance or approval should be reported against RTSA’s written assessment.
