Acting President Inonge Wina has said the government of President Edgar Lungu will never walk away from the plight of Zambians in life or death or at home or abroad.
Speaking when she officiated at the requiem mass of bus accident victims that perished in Mokapane, Limpopo Province in South Africa, held at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus Christ, Mrs. Inonge wina also wished those accident victims in various hospitals, a quick recovery.
And Hon Wina has praised Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Emmanuel Mwamba and his staff for the prompt response and effective coordination of the entire episode.
Hon. Inonge also thanked President Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa and the Limpopo provincial government for the help rendered to the both the deceased and those admitted to hospitals.
She said that government would ensure that continued help to the family was rendered until peace is restored after the loss of their beloved ones.
She said that President Edgar Lungu was affected by the tragedy and sent his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and the entire nation.
