About ZTSI

Learning that starts with the work.

ZTSI is the training institute of the Zambia Road Safety Trust. Our planned courses focus on the practical decisions that shape safer journeys.

Road safety is a shared responsibility.

Safer journeys depend on how streets are designed, vehicles are managed, speeds are controlled and people receive help after a crash. Practitioners need the skills to connect those tasks.

The ZTSI catalogue covers management, engineering, crash data, enforcement, fleet risk, walking and cycling, school routes and post-crash systems.

Our approach to learning

  • Use evidence to identify the problem.
  • Practise tools through case work and field or laboratory tasks.
  • Turn findings into actions with clear roles and monitoring.
  • Explain assumptions and the limits of the evidence.
