On Thursday 23/02/2023, the Zambia Road Safety Trust held a meeting with Eng. Amon Mweemba, Director/CEO of the Road Transport and Safety Agency, to introduce their organization and congratulate him on his appointment. During the meeting, the Chairman of the Zambia Road Safety Trust presented several projects aimed at promoting road safety for school children and discussed ongoing research on sustainable transport planning, flood vulnerability assessments, and road safety assessments.

The Director/CEO of RTSA expressed his interest in collaborating on various road safety issues and engaging the National Road Fund Agency to fund road safety infrastructure. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing their commitment to working together toward improving road safety in Zambia. The Zambia Road Safety Trust thanked the Director/CEO of RTSA for his time and support and looked forward to further collaboration to decrease the number of road accidents in Zambia.
