COMPREHENSIVE ROAD SAFETY AUDIT AND INSPECTION TRAINING ON NON-MOTORISED TRANSPORT

On February 21, 2024, a comprehensive Road Safety Audit and Inspection Training focused on non-motorized transport was successfully conducted. This event highlighted our collective commitment to the highest standards of road safety and saw active participation from a diverse range of organizations including the Road Development Agency, the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR) , Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Passengers, Pedestrians and Cyclists Association (PAPECA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ministry of Health Zambia, Capital Buses, Lusaka City Council, and SMART Solutech Investment Limited.

Facilitated by WRI Africa and the Zambia Road Safety Trust, the training aimed to enhance our efforts towards improving road safety for all, particularly for non-motorized transport users such as pedestrians and cyclists. This initiative reflects our dedication to creating safer, more inclusive roads for everyone.
