Arrive Alive Campaign Launch – December 10, 2024

On December 10, 2024, the Zambia Road Safety Trust (ZRST), in collaboration with the Bart Carr Family, launched the Arrive Alive Project Campaign. This initiative focuses on enhancing the visibility and safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists along Leopards Hill Road. The campaign kicked off at Bauleni Stadium (formerly Margret Mwanakatwe), Lusaka, under the theme Promoting Streets for Life.

Special thanks go to our sponsors, Savenda General Insurance Limited, and our partners: the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), Road Development Agency, Ward Development Committee, Kabulonga Ward 9 Leadership, Traffic Desk, and Road Safety Ambassadors. Their unwavering support was crucial in making this event a resounding success.

To address these concerns, the event featured road safety quizzes and training, emphasizing the critical importance of visibility on the roads. Community members also received reflective vests, eagerly embracing the opportunity to learn vital safety measures. Over 350 community members attended the event and 300 hundred reflective vests where distributed.

ZRST is committed to ongoing community sensitization, aiming to improve road safety across mapped areas. Together, we can make our streets safer.
