2 people have died in an accident that happened on 21st April 2014 in Kafue around 04:00hrs.
Four others sustained injuries after the Police landcruser they were travelling in hit into a stationary truck that was parked on the side of the road near River Motel in Kafue.
The deceased have been identified as Benard Simbaya and Edwin Munene while the injured are Esna Mulpa, Thobia Mooya, Thomas Nyerenda and Winfred Tumbola, all of Siavonga.
The accident happened as the driver of the landcruser identified as Kelvin Mukubi tried to avoid hitting into an on-coming vehicle which was overtaking at a curve, in the process swerved and hit into the trailer of the stationary truck.
The landcruser was carrying relatives of Allian Tendai Chimbola 44, who is alleged to have been shot at by Henry Chiwisa, a police officer of Kariba in Siavonga on 16th April and later died on 17th April at UTH. The relatives who were in a company of officers from Siavonga where travelling to UTH to attend the postmortem of the deceased which was scheduled for today.
